Obituary of Zmora Willow Curry
ZMORA WILLOW CURRY CAT
(ZOOZIE)
March 22, 2010 - July 28, 2022
Zmora left this world quite suddenly even though she had been ill recently. My little Calico cutie!!!! She was a rescue from NYC after Hurricane Sandy. My vet rescued many cats and brought them up here so they wouldn’t be put down after the hurricane. Zmora went through a big adjustment for about a year getting used to being in one home and not getting moved around to shelters. For that first year, she spent most of her time upstairs and the other cats would go to see her or she finally came downstairs. She bonded well with the other cats and was a wonderful part of our big family!!!! Zmora was a brave little girl only afraid of being put in a cat carrier – we started to give her some calming drugs to help her with this fear. She always knew when I was making a sandwich and would beg for some turkey or roast beef!!! Her love of life and wonderful personality will leave a big hole in our hearts and her little spirit will always be around to watch over us.
Zmora is survived by her human mom, Patti and siblings Tootie Joy and Sparky Jack, along with extended family and friends. As she crossed Rainbow Bridge she got to meet all of the family that went before.
A special thanks to Dr. Michelle Brownstein and staff at Henrietta Animal Hospital for their excellent care of Zmora over the years and to Dr. Cheryl Regalevsky (Cats Exclusively) who for a brief time was Zmora’s new vet.
Rest in Peace my little love – we will all be together again one day…….
