Here is a poem from me to him! I love you Gizmo! Gizmo was always at the door, just waiting for Cheria or Tim to come for he could soar He was happy, yapping and barking with glee for at 15, he looked like a fine pup, oh what a handsome dog indeed Gizmo was a laid back friend, cool as can be, Gizmo was a pup living in a dog's best dream for he had Cheria and Tim, oh yes Gizmo knew what heaven was And for now to me, he wasn't gone, he is singing a song for the people he will forever dream for he left us yes, but for Cheria and Tim he will be forever in their hearts, yapping so happily For at the end he isn't gone, he is still here just hiding and watching over them for he knew all along, he would be a song that Cheria and Tim would forever hold on So you see Gizmo is still here, he's just watching over Cheria and Tim for they were his heaven first as it should be A snort there, a snort here, yes I hear it that's Gizmo Alexander the Third my dear Smiling happily and being forever near

From the moment I first saw you, I knew you were special although I had reservations about getting you, your mom insisted. I am glad she did! What a wonderful dog you have been to our family. Not just our family but anyone who met you! You were not just a dog but a friend. I will surely miss you, Gizmo! You have been a blessing to our family! I realize you were in a lot of pain but now you have your wings you are in no pain! RIP my favorite dog!

An awesome dog and even more of an awesome friend, he will truly be missed and he’s an example of everything you’d want in an amazing sidekick, I’ll definitely miss his snorts, his curiosity and concern about the feelings of people around him, and his amazing way to make friends with ANYONE. I love you Giz and I always will.
